Kathryn Yoder
Director

Kathy joined The Arizona Masterworks Chorale in 1996 at the invitation of her dad, who was a member from 1980 to 2006 (though this was not known at her audition).  She joined the Board early on, as a member at large, and took up graphics for the group in 2008, creating flyers, programs as well the website until 2020. Her current strength on the Board of Directors is the group’s history.

She has served on the boards of Phoenix Camera Club (PCC) and the Arizona Camera Club Council (ACCC), involving up to a dozen camera clubs statewide. She also served as President of ACCC and created PCC’s monthly newsletter.  She has sung, accompanied, and played flute with several Valley church choirs, and plays flute with the Sun City Concert Band, also creating their flyers.

Kathy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Goshen College, Indiana, and matriculated many hours at local colleges as an adult learner.  She worked at the Arizona Republic for over 15 years in advertising design, and as a freelance graphic designer, helping grow companies through print and Internet advertising.  Now semi-retired, Kathy continues freelance graphics for several clients including Women in International Trade, Los Angeles.
