2026-2027 Season Wardrobe Guide

To ensure a uniform appearance in public, the Board of Directors has adopted the following wardrobe standards for all AMC Choristers in the 2026-2027 Season.  Choristers are responsible for providing their own concert attire.

  Men Concert Dress (items available from Stage Accents Men’s Formal Wear)

  • Black tuxedo jacket and pants.
  • Formal white tuxedo shirt and black studs and cufflinks (may be trimmed in gold or silver)
  • Black bow tie and cummerbund or formal vest..
  • Black shoes and black socks.
  • Simple stud or hoop earrings, rings, and watches are permitted.
  • Not acceptable: Suit coats or blazers; pocket squares; kilts; button-down collar shirts.

Women Concert Dress  (see links to individual items at Stage Accents)

  • Stage Accents Glory Tunic Top and either the Glory Skirt or Glory Palazzo Pants.
  • Black closed-toe shoes and black hosiery.
  • Simple stud or hoop earrings, pendant necklaces, rings, and watches are permitted.
  • No other jewelry (e.g., bracelets, brooches, chains, etc.) should be worn during the performance.

Outreach Event Dress (All, including Messiah Sing-Along)

  • AMC black polo shirt with logo (provided by AMC at no charge).
  • Business casual pants or skirt and footwear.

General

  • Face masks are currently optional but must be black if worn.
  • Medic Alert or similar bracelets may be worn.
  • A member appearing for a concert not in standard dress may be asked not to perform.
  • Concert dress is not required for rehearsals.
